Rangitāne Investments is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of the Flaxmill Vineyard located at Rārangi.
Following a period of extensive due diligence to ensure that the investment met the requirements of our Statement of Investment Policy Objectives, we have now completed the purchase process at a very competitive price, and look forward to the fruits of the vineyard’s success.
Our investment philosophy includes the need to achieve strong cash returns, seek opportunities to grow our capital value and add value for the benefit of Rangitāne going forward. The vineyard is part of Sustainable Wine Growing New Zealand and has been purchased with an existing Grape Supply Agreement with Matua.
Rangitāne joins iwi such as Ngāi Tahu and Ngāti Rārua who have also invested in vineyard properties. This investment supports the continuing diversification of our balance sheet, alongside active investments such as the Marine and Watercraft development on our Horton Street property in Blenheim.
