Tēnā  koutou e te whānau,

We have started work on a position statement for the Resource Consent Review of the Blenheim Sewerage Treatment Plant.  This is the start of the process to get the outfall shifted from the Wairau estuary.

The Pou Whenua at 17 Valley is in dire need of maintenance. The Trustees have agreed to the repairs and we hope to get that mahi underway soon.

We are working with the community groups on the proposed Heritage Centre in Ward and the Whale Trail bike trail which are large projects anticipated for next year.

I am looking forward to the AGM this Saturday.  Those of you that have registered for the livestream will have received the access link. We’ll resend the link on Friday and Saturday.  If you would like to attend by livestream please register your details HERE.

Please also remember to vote by internet before 5pm this Friday HERE.  Postal votes received after 11am Saturday will not be counted.  If you are coming to the AGM please note that you can vote at a polling booth at Ūkaipō until midday. An early lunch starts at 11am and the AGM will start after this at 1pm. Please email me (nick.chin@rangitane.org.nz) any questions for General Business by 5pm tomorrow (Thursday).

Wairau Kaumātua, please call the office on 578 6180 if you would like a shuttle to pick you up and take you home.

Mā te wā

Nick
