Annual General Meeting 2021
Kia ora koutou e te iwi
The unique circumstances of COVID-19 restrictions mean we have had to make careful considerations around this year’s AGM. There are a lot of contributing factors including the changing alert levels, gathering restrictions, social distancing, and the uncertainty over what a new “Delta Level 1” may look like. At all times, our priority is keeping whānau safe.
Therefore we would like to advise members that travel assistance, accommodation, tamariki activities, and the evening hākari that had been planned for this year’s AGM have been cancelled and will not be going ahead.
We know that this news is disappointing, we are encouraging whānau to attend the AGM via livestream – you can register for access to the livestream below.
If you have trouble registering for the livestream, please contact our office for support.
Members who would like to attend the hui at Ūkaipō please note you will need to register to attend the AGM. This is due to the limited numbers allowed in the venue under different alert levels. To register to attend the hui please contact our office as soon as possible to ensure your seat. Registered whānau over 18 years old will take precedence. Although the Electionz voting booth will be operating at Ūkaipō on the day of the AGM, we encourage members eligible to vote to cast their votes online or by post prior to the AGM.
Steps we are taking to ensure we abide by the government guidelines:
- Social distancing within Ūkaipō. Seated 1m apart
- Masks supplied to all attendees
- Hand sanitizer stationed at every entry and exit
- QR code at every entry and exit
Again, we know this news is disappointing, but our priority has been and continues to be the safety and wellbeing of our whānau.
