Rangitane Cultural Centre – Ukaipo has been built on the same site
as the former Grovetown Community Hall, which was used for a range of whanau hui over four decades by Rangitane
people. Ukaipo is fully equipped to cater for a range of events including cultural events that require noho
marae. The new facility is being praised as a credit to Rangitane. Click

Tuamatene Marae (currently
unavailable) is located in Grovetown (Marlborough) on the former Pa Kainga of Rangitane.
The present day site was a former school site and forestry camp. The land and buildings were returned to Rangitane
in 2009 by the Crown.
Rangitane Office The Runanga Office moved to the Post Office Tower
in central Blenheim in 2005. At the end of 2010 Rangitane O Wairau was able to purchase this building as part
of their settlement package, and consequently the building is now called ‘Rangitane House’. The office premises
also includes a meeting room for discrete Iwi and whanau hui when required by members.
